Meet the Founder
I'm Dean Shabi. I spent 6 years as a data scientist and AI engineer building forecasting and automation systems in the energy sector. I was good at my job, but I kept finding myself back on job boards—sometimes by choice, sometimes not.
Every time, it was the same experience: scrolling through hundreds of listings, tailoring resumes for each application, writing cover letters that disappeared into the void. Evenings and weekends spent on a process that felt designed for volume, not people.
Looking for work is already vulnerable enough without the process adding unnecessary friction. Job seekers deserve tools that respect their time and treat them as individuals, not applicant numbers.
That's why I built Bloome—to bring calm and clarity to job searching. It's early and I'm building it solo, but I'm working on it every day.
